God has a Greater Plan

Each night as I sit here in my favorite chair,
in my pajamas with uncombed hair,
unshaven and not looking so pretty,
trying to find the words to sound witty.

As my mind wanders I begin to see,
philosophy in rhythm come to me
as though that is how it is meant to be.

A clever man I don’t know that I am,
but God has a greater plan,
as he is the author behind the scenes,
who has given me the means,
to motivate and inspire those who may need,
providing they are ready and willing to read.
