God has a greater plan

Each night as I sit in my favorite chair,
in pajamas with uncombed hair,
unshaven, and not looking too pretty,
trying to find the words to sound witty.

As my mind wanders, I begin to see,
philosophy in rhythm, come to me,
as though that's how it is meant to be.

A clever man, I don’t know that I am,
but God has a greater plan,
as he is the author behind the scenes,
who has provided me with the means,
to motivate and inspire those who may need,
providing they’re ready and willing to read.
